It certainly wasn't 98 on our side of the county. I rode my bike halfway up the parkway trail in the afternoon and it didn't seem that bad. I think it was 90 at most. My window thermometer which granted is in the shade and near the house never got above 89. It says it's about 84 here right now.

Driving on 95S yesterday afternoon around 3:30 - 4:00pm, my car thermometer read 105. When I got to my house in Lake Ridge, it had dropped to 98 degrees. Yuck! I want to live on your side of the county!

My car was reading 100 on the nose (but it was a bit earlier.... 1:30 or so). On another note: why can't Alexandria get any rain? I'm ready to do a rain dance, sometimes there are storms but they are skirting around - it's DRY, DRY here

Forecast highs are 95-100 through the Fourth. Low humidity at least to start out though...
