Greetings:
I am an educator moving in from Illinois to Fairfax. I have only been once in the area. I will appreciate pointers regarding rental apartments. I am aware of the rates, but I'm looking for a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment. Asides that, does anyone know a good, reliable and reasonably priced storage? As I don't have an apartment yet,I am thinking of having my belongings placed in a storage and then move things once I find where to live.
At the moment, I am seeking a Spanish speaking realtor from Long and Foster. In the time being, I decided to conduct my business with Allied Van Line for moving my belongings and with DAS for moving my car. I will stay at an Extended Stay Hotel until I find a place to rent. Suggestions and recommendations will be deeply appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome to Fairfax. You say educator. Does that mean public school or college level? Either way, the first piece of advice will be to try to find something near where you will be working. If you are being hired by Fairfax County Public schools, I believe they have some assistance for this. Check out Employee Incentives| Fairfax County Public Schools. Hopefully others can give more specifics, especially if you can give a price range you are looking at for rental. Again, welcome and good luck.
