Leisure World in Lansdowne? That's what I thought but I forgot to include it.

Ding ding ding! We have a winner! But that's the only one I'm giving away until I post all 50 photos. (What can I say, I'm a tease...) So in a few days, I'm going to post the answer for all 50. In the meantime, here's the next set:

24.

The clue to this burg is near the middle of the photo.

25.

This is not in Great Falls National Park. Where is it?

26.

Here’s another one LynchburgLover probably saw while stuck in traffic…
Sadly, it’s not there anymore. But--do you remember where it was?

27.

Sally may not care anymore if you walk in this poetry-themed park.

28.

This art center was built on a site that was pivotal for the women’s suffragette movement. What town is it in?
Bonus Clue: This town was unfairly maligned yesterday.

29.

This place was named by someone who drank some wine and then spelled a word backwards.

30.

Hopefully, you will not get lost or encounter any perils in this jungle. Not even the perils of Route 7.

31.

I happen to know quite a few of you have driven right by this, so you don’t need any clues for this photo.

32.

This park also has an awesome mountain bike trail.

33.

In the winter, Jack Frost may nip at your nose here, but you won’t find any chestnuts roasting.

34.

The best apples in Virginia can be found at this stand.

35.

A long time ago, the purpose of building this road was to link to a bridge crossing the Potomac. Didn’t happen, though. Instead, it resulted in a large community being built. What community?

27 - Reston (old Sallie Mae campus)
28 - Lorton

By the way... one challenge I'm facing is I don't have many photos inside the beltway (or of Prince William County). So I'd love to have a few other people add a few quiz photos to cover those parts of northern VA I've been neglecting.

Okay 30. is kinda neat. I'm curious as to the answer.

I must admit I'm not getting any of these and I've lived here for four years. Although only two of those years were OTB so don't know a lot about the outer suburbs.

Agreed, we definitely need some inside-the-beltway shots and some from down your way too. Got anything you'd like to post?

You really got me stumped with most of these. I have been to most parts of Fairfax and Prince William County, but anything like Loudoun County or even Falls Church is out of my league.

24. Middleburg
26. Day care on Route 7 near NVCC (yep, stuck in traffic) Sorry to hear it's gone
29. The only street I know around DMV spelled backwards is Tunlaw (walnut) in Northwest DC and that's not it.
30. Woody's driving range -- Dranesville?

Fun game!
