I make 42k a year. My child goes to a preschool in Fairfax. I desperately need some kind of aide or funding or scholarship for my 4 year old. I live in Maryland but work in Fairfax, VA. I have searched the MoCo website and FFX website and i'm just a little bit over the income limit for financial assistance for child care and i also need assistance with rent. Any good suggestions. I am a truly single mother who receives absolutely no help from anyone or anything. I am struggling so bad in this area, everything is so

Have you called the school system for something like HeadStart? Also, does your child have any special needs? In Fairfax County there is a free preschool in some of the elementary schools, but it is for children with special needs - like speech issues, autism, etc. I imagine Maryland is similar.
