It's even more confusing because George Mason, the high school for the City of Falls Church, sits in a building in Fairfax County, outside the City. However, if a proposed deal to sell Falls Church Water to Fairfax Water goes through in a year or so, Fairfax County will transfer that parcel to the City, so that the FCC schools are actually in the City.

For more confusion, Falls Church High School used to be in the City of Falls Church until it moved to Fairfax County (into what was an intermediate school) about 40 years ago.

Note "minimum of 2500 sq. ft." in your statement. When I asked earlier whether there were a lot of homes in Loudoun in the 2500 sq. ft. range, I was asking whether there were many homes that small in Loudoun not whether there were homes that big. Of course, my query excludes townhouses, many of which are in that size range.

my apologies, from your statement i could not tell whether you were speaking on above or below 2,500 sq ft.

would be very difficult to find a detached property with under 2,500 sq ft, built fairly recently.. Most will include a basement, pushing the total sq footage close to 3,000 if not higher.

One option would be in a 55+ community that may offer one level living..

That was my point. That, in general, high price goes with size in Loudoun, unlike in certain inner suburban areas where high price can combine with small size.

BTW, I am not the OP who is looking for a house.
