If you don't mind a LCSW as opposed to a psychologist, I would recommend Alan Pachter at Northern VA Psychiatric Group which is just off Rte 50 just outside the beltway (Fairfax address).

I have both used insurance and used out of network. I have United Behavoiral Health.

I don't think the person I was going to suggest takes that insurance, but I always have felt better talking with someone who is the same sex as me and a little older. Everyone is different though!
