I like the new Stone Bridge shopping center near Potomac Mills. Easy to park, quieter it seems, upscale stores and good eateries.

I had to shoot Mr. Ed once when I was a police officer. He was hit by a car and snapped his leg. The owner was a vet and he asked me to put him down. I swear I kept hearing Mr. Ed saying "Wilbur" when I was standing there. Not a fun day at all.

Sorry to see the larger Books-A-Million space move to a smaller spot there. Even though it never appeared to be filled with buyers, as opposed to browsers.

Gas lines at Costco were longer than normal, too -- everybody (like me) topping off the tank for whatever bad weather comes.
I refuse to wait in the lines at Costco for gas. Everytime I'm in the area, they're atrocious. I can go to any other gas station and drive right up to a pump instead of sitting in line for 15-20 minutes or longer. I was by the mall this past weekend and the lines were spilling out into the road that goes around the mall. Very annoying.

Apparently that was just in their European stores but who knows.

You can always tell when Costco is having a "good" price on gas. If it's 20 cents or more difference per gallon, you get the lines into the road. If it's 5 or 10 cents, it's not so bad.

Costco is on my "Sunday morning" routine. Costco gas at 8:00AM and Wegman's right after. No lines either place. I know, I have no life!

Even when gas is 5 cents cheaper, there are lines 10 or more cars deep. It's nuts. When I go to Costco, I purposely park out in the boonies. I refuse to search for a space there because it's so busy.

I live about 5 minutes, if that, from PM and I can't stand it. The overall traffic it brings to the area is just awful and the parking there is nuts.

The only real reason I ever went to the mall was for the Old Navy and they took that out. Now I have to drive a bit further to get to it so I just hardly go. I guess they saved me some money.

It is insane out there. People drive like it is the end of the world and they are going for supplies when they are headed towards the mall.

I long to be back out in the country.....

The Old Navy is now located at the town center area (near Wegman's).

I'm glad they took the Old Navy "outlet" (clearance center) out of Potomac Mills. That place had turned into an absolute dump. It was pretty great when it first opened.
