I noticed in the master sticky thread that Dunn Loring and Mosaic is getting no love. So I'll start the collection. All photos posted by me are all rights reserved by myself via my website;

Great pictures, thanks for posting.

In a way, I kind of like the fact that some people aren't aware of the development in the area. I can park easily and the area never seems overcrowded.

They are still building out the residential portion of the development. Surrounding residential areas are at a lower level of economic development so they aren't really the group who would pay $10 for a sandwich at CAVA. The surrounding area is going to have to be redeveloped for the activity in this area to pickup.

On a related note, what's with the tire store and used-to-be-mattress-shop at the corner of Lee Hwy and Gallows? Did they not get the memo? Did the owners of those properties play hardball and refuse to sell to the development? They are kind of eyesores now.

It's coming along very nicely! A lot of great places that I frequent there including Red Apron Butcher, Mom's organic, Medditerra fish, Le Pain, Gelato place, Cava and etc..

Too bad the plan for the biggest Oyster bar on the east coast from the Black restaurant group is cancelled...

Yes, but there are other developments in the surrounding areas as well. It looks like the Halstead areas are coming along nicely. I see that some restaurants and stores are just about ready to open there. Also, construction on the development at DL metro is really picking up.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that the mattress shop closed down.

actually my impression is that the eateries, at least, are busy, and MOM's is already busier than I would have expected.

I have not yet been to a film at Angelika's - I want to see Argo and Greedy, Lying, Bastards.
