Tell me about it. How is the parking near the stop? How comfortable/clean are the bus compare to metro bus, metro, and VRE? Can you expect mostly professional people comparable to metro riders during rush hours?

What stop in Lake Ridge? A commuter lot or a neighborhood stop? If a commuter lot, which one? What time of the day would you be parking?

The buses are cleaner than Metro or Metro bus. Given the fare is $5.25 with a Smartrip, the riders are virtually all professionals working in D.C. Some of the buses get pretty full, but rarely is it standing room only. In general, the buses are newer coach buses with comfortable reclining seats and reading lights. However, PRTC has started purchasing some city-style buses with hard, uncomfortable plastic seats and no reading lights for some routes.

I'm not sure what exactly you are wanting to know, but I hope this helps.

I take the bus into DC. It's rarely overcrowded and is much more relaxing than trying to drive. You see the same people everyday so it feels familiar. It is also less expensive than VRE or driving to Springfield metro station. The commuter lot at Old Bridge and Minnieville and the lot at Old Bridge and 123 fill up around 8:15-8:30 am. The lot at 123 and 95 never fills up.

Lake Ridge is the nicest area in Woodbridge and is comparable to areas in Fairfax County like Burke and West Springfield.
