Hi All,

I am new to soapmaking. Does anyone know of any classes in the area and the best place to purchase essential oils and supplies. Michael's and AC Moore do not have classes and so far those two along with Whole Foods are the only places I've found to purchase essential oils and soapmaking supplies in our area. If there are web sites that you recommend, I would love to hear about them.

Start with Lush. There's one in Tysons Corner.

Its possible that Kennedys Natural in Falls Church City have some contacts.

There's a terrific floating school called abbeybrown in Chicago. Maybe they know someone local.

If you don't mind ordering online there is a place called Lavender Farms or something like that in Oregon I believe.
They grow they own lavender and have other fragrances as well.

The soap making class can sometimes be found through your local library or fabric shop.
Google that and see what comes up.

I used to make soap. I have ordered essential oils from Bramble Berry and Camden-Grey.
