It took 4 weeks for non-expedited passport for us after we applied in the post office back in October. As for the picture we took it with our camera with white background and then used CVS for printing. At CVS self printing machine they have passport option which will let you adjust your pictures to Standard format and print. Most of the CVS guys help too if you need. It costs you just 19 cents for two prints.

So far, it took two days to get to Philadelphia, and then it showed up on their tracking system 7 days after that. The other poster did make a good point, that they send your expired one back to you a few weeks after they send your new one.

Got it! 22 days, door to door, and that included Christmas and New Years Holidays. Did not pay to expedite, nor did I pay the 25 to the PO for processing. 110 USD, total. I better leave before I get fined for not having maternity coverage.

Go to CVS. Who cares if they only give 2 photos. You only need 1 and they are not being submitted to a modeling agency lol. I had to go on travel and went it, got pictures, and got photos in like 10 minutes. On the airplane, though, I wondered where the $10+ went for this purchase when I could have done a selfie for free.

It's good to have some extras for visas. My visa requires three.
