I think your auto is a bit high, but your homeowners is pretty darn cheap, at least compared to mine. Here's mine:

Auto - 2009 Toyota Corolla and a 2014 Toyota Corolla, Geico, $1,140 annual
Homeowners - 2 story SFH w/finished basement, Homesite, $713 annual

I have fairly robust coverage - $300k in liability on all policies, $500 deductible on collision, $250 deductible on comprehensive. FWIW, I recently did a lot of shopping around because my homeowners went from $600 to $713 and I though that was a pretty steep increase. I got at least 10 quotes including bundling all of my insurance and I couldn't find anyone to beat what I currently have. I was getting a lot of homeowners insurance quotes that were over $1,000 annually - the explanation they all seemed to give me was Hurricane Sandy.

The car insurance seems a little pricey but there are many variables that come into play - driving record, number of claims, credit score, type/amount of coverage, amount of deductible.

I pay $1500 a year for two vehicles. Full coverage with a $250 deductible. Insured by State Farm.

2012 Mazda3
2010 Subaru Legacy

My homeowner's is $575 a year.

Ours is about the same as HokieFan, also w/ State Farm. Have you priced out auto insurance with other carriers? You probably could reduce that but homeowners insurance looks good.

Happy Friday Everyone!

I have USAA for both.

Auto: $1460 for 2 vehicles (2005 Lexus IS300 and 2010 Nissan Murano)
Homeowners: $479 TH built in 2008

I think that is about average.

My home and car insurance are roughly the same amount... about $600 a year for both. I pay the car twice a year ($290 every 6 months) and the house is pulled out of escrow. My car is a 2005 Pontiac and I live in a townhouse. I have State Farm for both and get a bit of a discount for bundling.

I pay 2868/annual in auto insurance for 2007 Toyota Camry and a 2012 Honda Civic.
Why do you ask as you gasp out loud! Too many fender benders..........
Before all of this I was paying about 1200/year and even then er still had infactions which made it that number.
Asking everyone what they pay has too many variables to give you an accurate read.

Would be helpful to know the OP's age, gender, and driving record.

My HI is about $645 for a large TH (~3K finished sqft.)

Car insurance for 2 x 2006 vehicles is about $830 / year.
