Can anyone recommend a (reasonably priced) piano teacher for a 5 year old? My son really wants to learn, and I don't know how to play.

You probably should indicate your general location and how far you're willing to drive if you want lessons in the teacher's home.

And what you consider "reasonably priced".

You can also ask at music stores, like Melody Music in Sterling/Leesburg.

Sorry, I left out the location - Fairfax. Anywhere in Fairfax, Burke, Springfield, also Gainesville and Manassas would be OK.

I think a reasonable price is 20-35 dollars for 30 minutes, or less for 15 minutes.

I think your expected rates are too low.

Here is the rate information for a suzuki piano teacher in Reston to give you an example.
suzukimethod

At age 5 I would be more interested in a couple years of general music classes.

Too far for you, but for comparison's sake, the Brambleton Piano Studio charges $30 per 30 minute lesson for beginners ($120 per month). A larger music school in Ashburn, Minton's Academy of Music, charges $130 per month (4 30 minute lessons). I don't think your price expectations are unreasonable.
