I'm looking for independent clothing stores (for men) anywhere along the Dulles greenway / Rte 7 corridor. Living in Ashburn, the Leesburg outlets are less than satisfying. Ideally the place will have clothes designed and Made in the USA. It's not uncommon for a pair of men's jeans to be $100-$300.

Very far from Ashburn - and I have no idea where the clothes are made - but there are three independent men's clothing stores on King Street in Old Town Alexandria: (heading west from the Metro) King Street Clothiers, Dash's and Raul's Menswear. The majority of selection in each consists of business/formal wear although Raul's appears to have a considerable amount of business casual/vacation wear as well. None of them to my knowledge sells jeans. If it's trendier fashions that you're looking for, there are likely numerous places in Tysons Galleria or Tysons Corner Center, if not also Dulles Town Center, that offer that merchandise at a better quality than their outlet siblings in Leesburg.
