Let's be honest: Crystal City is ugly. I mean, really ugly. Half of it looks like a 1975 architecture diorama; the other half looks like Jesse Pinkman's meth hangout. And worst of all, it blocks the view of DC for everyone who lives or drives along Arlington Ridge. I say let's just wipe the slate clean.

But what should we replace it with?

Brilliant! That could be the new name. After all, DEA is right there.

The idea of a golf/paintball course sounds interesting.

I think you leave half the buildings though. URBAN golf/paintball. Sneak your way through the underground tunnels and around building corners.

Sounds like when I would sneak into the parking garages to go skating back in the day.

Haha!

I think a golf and paintball course would work... anything would be better than a mall, we have more than enough.

Cool. We could have a movie set for the next Divergent-series movie.

A movie set is not a bad idea. In fact, Virginia has a tax write-off if you've invested in any movie filming in Virginia.

That would be a serious moneymaker.

Another thing occurred to me: Rosslyn used to have a brewery before WWII. (It's a shame they tore down the building.) Crystal City could be one giant brewery/distillery/movie set/water park (in the summer)/multi-sport race track. Like an enhanced version of the Houston Astrodome!
