Today, for the first time this spring, my cocktail of antihistamines have failed me. A Benadryl and two Claritins today ... and still I can't breathe out of my nose.

Who do I call to eradicate the trees? Will they take out the grass and mold soon after? DOWN WITH NATURE. Up with drugs.

That is all.

Other than that, it's been a beautiful weekend in NoVA.

Welcome to Virginia, if you moved here without allergies, you will develop them here.

I'm pretty lucky in that allergies have never been a big issue with me. Even the explosion of pollen right now is not really bothering me short of a little bit of a stuffy nose at times. But yesterday the crap falling from our Oak trees was just incredible. I bet I swept off the front porch 5 times yesterday. Living in a neighborhood full of Oak trees can really suck at times. We're looking to move to Winchester soon and I'm looking for a good size yard with NO Oak trees within sight.

Bigfoot, you'll want to avoid sycamores too. Not for the pollen, but for the tons of HUGE leaves they shed in the fall. I was out raking daily for most of Oct when I had one.

Maybe I will tell our agent that if they find a yard with any trees they are fired.
