I hope someone can please help me with this obsession I have had all morning trying to remember the name of a store that used to be at Tyson's Corner Mall in the 1980s. I've got to get closure on this!

This store was like a high end small department store, but just clothes and cosmetics, no household stuff. It might have been for women only.It was not an anchor store, it was only on one level and I remember the cosmetics were in the front. For some reason I remember there being more than one in the DMV area, but maybe not. It was not Garfinkel's but along that chi-chi high quality line. It is where I began my fixation with expensive beauty products (even thought I couldn't afford them) by buying Erno Lazslo. The Erno Laszlo counter/table was on the right right by the front of the store.

Please help if anyone can! I need to be able to let this go and get back to work.
Thank you!!

Woodward and Lothrop? Having trouble recalling old shops that far back, but I used to visit Tysons in the 80s as well.

Not Woodies, it was a one word name and much smaller. I'd say kind of the same size as Brooks Brothers at the mall now, if that helps.
Thanks tho'!

Raleighs was men's only. Clothing and accessories.

Gee...I've been in NoVA since 1980 and now I'm wondering what store this is. If something occurs to me, I will definitely post back.
