Considering a commute from Stafford to Manassas Park. It looks like there are some back roads from Stafford to avoid 95 alltogether (Mountain View Rd, Rt 616 etc...). Google estimates 1 hour from stafford to Manassas park using these back roads. Does anyone have any experience using these roads and is that a realistic estimate of time during commuting hours?

Definitely doable. My #1 suggestion: avoid route 28 as much as possible. It is very backed up during rush hour.

Maybe go up 95 to Joplin Road and take that to Brentsville Road which will turn into Liberia Rd and take you straight into Manassas Park.

Joplin dead ends at 619. You can connect to Dumfries Rd (234) and take this to PW Pkway. Turn right and take it to Liberia Ave. Take Liberia to a right onto Euclid Ave. Of course Euclid may not be the best option depending on where in M. Park. If you were to turn left at the light for PW Pkway you would be on Brentsville Rd.

Where in Stafford are you looking to commute from? I've taken 610 thru Brent Town Rd to Aden Rd in the past, but I doubt it would save you any time unless you're in northwestern Stafford County. Rt. 1 or 95 to Joplin would be the better bet if you live closer that way.
