Woodmont Park Apartments in Alexandria City, Virginia - Apartment Showcase

Anyone know anything about these?

Particularly, why are they so cheap? LOL.

Thanks!

I googled this apartment complex, and some people have had not so good things to say about it in YELP...

Woodmont Park Apartments - Alexandria, VA | Yelp

or in Apartment Ratings....

Woodmont Park Ratings, Reviews, Map, Rents, and other Alexandria apartments for rent from ApartmentRatings.com

It seems that you can do a little better than this place.

Thanks! I am overwhelmed at the sheer number of apartments that are around.

I also try to take the reviews with a grain of salt, because generally it's people with something negative to say, so I figure they're biased... but also, if a place is this cheap, I guess I could go ahead and assume it's not that nice.

No. They are generally pretty damn accurate. It's cheap for a reason.

Apartments in this area that cheap usually have management issues, safety issues, mice, and/or roaches

Good to know!
Thank you

Even the ones that are slightly more expensive seem to have poor reviews. I'm looking in the $1200-1350 range and still finding complaints of roaches, mice, etc. Ahh! I don't know where to even start.

If possible, go and visit complex and see for yourself. As for mice and roaches,Alexandria is a urban area and unfortunately that's were pests live. For your price range,I'd also look at the smaller complexes. I live in a four apartment complex and pay way less than one of the big management properties. Craigslist or the classified ads are a good staring point. Or just drive around a neighborhood and look for rent signs.

Thank you I really appreciate it.

Any chance you could let me know which complex you live in?

Thanks!
