I've had packages delivered to me multiple times via UPS, FedEx, USPS and Lasership. UPS has given me the least trouble, but lately Lasership has left packages outside of my apartment building. This eventually led to some disappearing. Has anyone else had this problem with this particular delivery service?

UPS is usually able to buzz into the building and usually leaves it at the door. FedEx often leaves notices, even when inside the building.

Just received an Amazon order today shipped by Lasership. It was two days late and one of the items (shampoo) wasn't properly sealed and leaked over all of the other items. It could be Amazon, it could be Lasership - either way - I'm not pleased.

I've never had items damaged (knock on wood) but I have had things delivered later than usual. USPS and Lasership are the top offenders there. Amazon should reimburse you for damaged items. I've even had refunds or credits given for expedited items delivered late (1 day shipping, not 2 day prime).

I don't mind picking up items at UPS or FedEx Express (even if the parking at the Eisenhower Ave location is terrible) but damaged or missing items are unacceptable. Heck, I've even driven to the "Fort Knox" fedex Home Delivery center in Lorton to get something. But it was in good condition and on time.

Lasership is horrible. They always report packages delivered days before they show up. I've had refunds issued by amazon and by walgreens, then had the packages show up several days later and had to call back to essentially repay. The only recourse is to reach back out to the merchant and make it their problem.

I have never heard of lasership before. Anything I get from amazon comes via FedEx or UPS.

I just had my first lasership package from Amazon. It arrived fine, but the tracking isn't nearly as good. Hopefully this won't be a trend.

Perhaps OP would be a candidate for the Amazon Lockers pickup program?

Ive seen the Lasership vans around, they're like beat up old white vans with a large lasership decal stuck to the side. Doesn't inspire much confidence if you asked me. But anyway, for large packages I always have it shipped to my work address. Small packages that can fit in my mailbox I have sent to my home

I've thought of that but the money I pay for Prime is, mostly, for the convenience to have the package waiting for me when I get home with no need to worry about making time to drop by a locker or brave the traffic after work. If I could drive to a locker, then I just as easily could have driven to a store to buy the same item for a similar, if not lower, price. (Only if some of the delivery drivers would simply call me instead of leaving items outside and then driving off...)

EDIT: The aforementioned Lasership delivery was actually for another online retailer. Amazon uses mostly UPS, Fedex and USPS. The smaller online retailers are the ones using Lasership. Hopefully, they will switch over soon because I hate being a complete victim of Amazon's price gauging. I like having a choice.

If that is the case I would guess they are cutting costs by having subcontractors be the actual delivery person instead of having their own fleet of vehicles.

As mentioned previously, Amazon now uses Lasership. Also, I've found out, is that they also now use UPS SmartPost and FedEx Home Delivery which both employ the USPS to make the final delivery to your house. This may be fine for MOST people, but the USPS does not deliver to my home, so giving a package to them means it may take me weeks to get it. (Since I have to pick it up from the post office during normal business hours, I'm limited to Saturdays from 8 - 12. god forbid I already had plans on that Saturday....). I specifically paid for Prime because of the "two-day" shipping, which used to mean USPS was in no way involved. Now I'm back to guessing when I can get packages. Delivering to the Post Office is NOT getting the package ot me within 2 days. Unfortunately, it's always the critical ones that go to the Post Office. UGH!!
