Does anyone know of a reputable landscaping company that they can recommend? I would like to have a landscaping plan drawn up for adding few trees and shrubs on my property. I know Merrifield Gardens does a great job but they are so expensive. The reviews seem mixed on Meadow Farms from what I've read.

I am planning on using Kingstowne landscape for their $50 Angies list design consultation. Depending on their price for labor I may go with them or use my typical guys.

I had Meadow Farms landscaping design service. Things were okay at the beginning but went downhill from there. They will never get my business again, even for plants and flowers.

I use Blue Sky Landscaping -- but I haven't shopped around for a while. We compared them against a few other folks about 5 years ago and chose Blue Sky. We've been happy enough with their services and prices since then that we haven't been compelled to shop around. The proprietor and office staff are very helpful; my next door neighbor and a couple other friends use them, too.

Premium Lawn and Landscape | Business and Residential Landscaping in Northern Virginia

We hired them after they did work at our local swim/tennis club. I'd recommend them without any reservation.
