I was looking right off of wayside dr. walking distance from wal mart. The neighborhood did not look too bad. Is there some thing I am not aware of?

When I retired from the PD in 09 this was not a bad area. It's somewhat close to some not so good areas but this neighborhood was still not a bad one. No idea now.

Woodbridge
The Woodbridge Metropolitan area is a very diverse ethnic community. I don't think that you would have a problem as an African American living in any of the community areas such as Dale City, Dumphris, Lake Ridge, Rippon Landing, etc. The majority of the newer stores and developments are located in the Rippon Landing community area. In my opinion the majority of middle class African Americans families seem to live in the newer housing developments along south route 1.

I saw another one in Triangle anyone have reservations about that area? I am worried about being too far isolated from the Woodbridge/dale city area.
