I know it varies from area to area...so i'll ask my question here if that's alright.
I was wondering if anyone (family of 4 or 5 total (ie. 2 or 3 kids + married couple) has Obamacare, and how much you pay monthly for what plan?

thank you!

I am responsible for my own health coverage (work for tiny company; I get a yearly bonus to cover any benefits that I might want to purchase on my own)

I pay $150ish a month for a bottom-of-the-barrel carefirst catastrophic only plan that is below the medal (bronze, silver, etc) levels. I cannot even imagine how much it would be for a family of several people at one of the actual medal levels. My plan is basically there to keep me from going bankrupt should I befall a terrible accident. It won't be cheap to get in said accident, as my deductible and out of pocket maximum are over $6,000, but at least I won't have to declare bankruptcy right away.

Good luck to ya.

My two kids and I are are on an individual care policy with Anthem that was grandfathered before the Health Law took place. My wife has an Obamacare policy; during her renewal period, I checked to see how much our family of 4 would pay under her policy, it was about $900. She has a gold plan with a $750 deductible. The name of her policy is Anthem HealthKeepers if I am not mistaken.

Price depends on your age, and how much you want your deductible to be. To me our individual care policy is a better deal, even though the deductible is $2500. Why? our co-payments are $20 and $30 for a specialist, and we can go as many times as we want through out the year.

On her policy, she has to pay the deductible in full before the benefits start for seeing a specialist. Her PCP co pay is $30 though, and there's no limitations on how many visits she can have in a year.

I thought every insurance plan was affected by the ACA (Obamacare). I assume the OP means an Individual Marketplace plan bought on the
Healthcare Exchange? 4 members of my family of 5 qualified for a plan with a subsidy. It's a little under $500 a month. Without the subsidy it's about $850+ per month.
