Hello people, I really need your help here, please.

Which is the fastest way to get to the nearest metro station by bus???

Im at Cromwell Rd / Edds Ln in Sterling.


I'd really appreciate your help.

Metro has a 'find a station' webpage here that will show you the closest metro stations to an address:
Metro - Maps - Find Station


Metro also has a Trip Finder webpage here: Metro - Rider Tools - Trip Planner


Enter your starting address on one side, then select one of the metro stations you want to go to.

Hopefully this will give you the exact information that you need.

The Metro trip planner won't work. What you need to do is find several bus routes and do some transfers. I see there is a bus stop at that location. It seems to get you to Dulles Town Center. You would need to foind buses from there that would get you to within walking distance of Wiehle-Reston East station. The whole thing could take hours. If you could walk to route 7 first, maybe there are bus routes to Tysons from there. I didn't check though.

Route 81 goes from Cromwell/Edds lane to Dulles Town Center. http://www.loudoun.gov/DocumentCenter/View/105135 - as of Sept 2014.

Route 84 goes from Dulles Town Center to the Wiehle Reston Metro Station: http://www.loudoun.gov/DocumentCenter/View/111115
