Toby Keith’s I Love this Bar and Grill at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center
closed for good early Saturday morning, according to John Thomas, vice president
of operations for the company.

Closing the restaurant was "strictly a strategic business decision
based on our company's future roll out plans," Thomas said in an
email.
This place was hyped so much, it's crazy to think how quickly it ended up closing. I heard so many complaints about the food and service, I'm curious if anyone on here went there.

I did not get a chance to go there, but passed by it while looking for parking to go to PF Changs and Firebirds on two separate occasions.

On both occasions, the place looked pretty packed.

I eat at chain restaurants but I think they will be the eventual death of regional diversity in the United States.

My husband and I went there twice - just to have a beer while we were out shopping. We did choose to eat someplace else both times (although not for any particular reason).

In Stonebridge, we like Uncle Julio's, Not Your Average Joes, Brixx, & Potbelly. We'd even grab something from Wegman's if were in the store and wanted something quick. I think we had so many other options that we liked, we just never thought to eat there.

Toby Keith

They had 1.5 stars on Yelp. There are very few places that can manage to have such consistently terrible reviews.

Good insight. Thank you.

I honestly did not even think to look this up.

I can't believe how bad the reviews are. I don't know how a restaurant can unintentionally be that bad on a consistent basis. I'm actually a little impressed. Nice work Toby

We ate there once and the food was lousy and the service was terrible. Too many other nearby places to even think about trying it a second time.
