Any of you guys out there know of a good haircut place around NOVA that actually knows how to style hair? If they work well with spiky asian hair its even better because thats the kind of hair I have.

Barber shops are everywhere. Most of them charge around $15 for a hair cut. However, most of the time they don't know how to style your hair very well and aren't familiar with modern styles. If any of you guys are trying to style your hair and get that modern look that you see in magazines nowadays you know what I'm talking about. They're great for buzz cuts and short hair using clippers but not much more than that. Their hair cuts look something like these:

These cuts are fine, but they're too basic and boring for me. Furthermore, I have spiky asian hair that sticks out unlike Caucasian hair. My hair will look something like this if it simply gets clipped:

I am looking for a haircut place around NOVA that knows how to do something along these lines:

Can anybody help me out? Preferably a place around Centreville, Manassas, Haymarket but if its good, I'm willing to venture out.

I would try The Grooming Lounge in Tysons or The Standard in Fairfax.
