So since I have moved from WA state I have experienced a lot of issues with my hair and skin on my face. After multiple visits to different doctors - no answers, then a recent trip back to my old home for a week and had no issues..I have come to a conclusion that perhaps it is the water.

In the WA area that I used to live, water is soft.
Here according to Loudoun Water it is moderately hard with calcium and magnesium.

Since I have no real "proof" it is the water, I am hesitant to spend the money to have a whole house water softener installed.
BUT when I look at the filters available to connect to showerheads, it seems like they are geared more towards removing chlorine.

Any guidance or suggestions or experiences you can share?
