One of the deals on our house closing was that we had the builder to paint the garage and install a garage door opener. There was no way we could have done that ourselves. The darn ceiling in the garage is about 12 feet. Hubby can barely change the light bulbs with our ladder.
So we moved in and the garage opener was installed, but not functional. We spent a few days chasing down the building superintendent. The garage door opener's cord did not reach the electrical outlet in the ceiling!
He had to get a special extension cord for it.

It hit twice in Ashburn yesterday morning between 9 and 11. It's the first time ever I appreciated our gas stove (don't like them in general), the gas didn't go out.
