Oh, i agree. The taxis I took had some of the best drivers. Loved the rides. Personally, I would choose the taxis, but the Ubers are definately cheaper.

I used to drive people from Tysons to U st. $20-25 and that's no surge and with some traffic. you must be assuming surge pricing because at under a dollar PER mile during regular rates, it will not be $40.
personally id drive again if it was $2 a mile. keeps the cheap and for the most part aholes out of my vehicle.

I just began driving for Lyft today. I received my requests from Martinsburg W Va so Lyft may not be available here. I live in Winchester and hope the service is offered here soon. I did bring a fare from Martinsburg to Winchester so maybe requesting Lyft from Winchester will hasten its arrival here soon!

It's now open in Winchester, I'm sure it's been open since. I just went drove around and yes I actually made okay money. It's not bad. If you want make a lot of money Washington DC is only a couples of hours or less away. There are a lot of places all over. Yes it does...
