Hi,
My husband has recently received a job offer from AWS we are trying to determine the realistic expectations. We are moving from an area where the cost of living is much less so setting up in a new city that costs so much more is going to be expensive to start and on top of that we have not gotten much information in the way of pay periods and pay cycles. I have been trying to figure out if Amazon pays bi-weekly, bi-monthly or Monthly in Herndon. I have found a few other posts about pay cycles in other Amazon locations but not Herndon. If you could offer any information on pay cycles so that I can determine when he would receive his first check, that would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance!

Rachel

A couple of thoughts..

1) Companies normally don't have different pay cycles per location. If Amazon Web Services has a certain pay cycle in one location; it's almost guaranteed that it's the same everywhere.

2) Why not ask the HR rep/ Recruiter?

3) If you finances are so tight that a one or two week delay in pay would make a huge difference, Northern Virginia might not be the place for you.
