Where do you think a lot of the people get the income from, from working at night? The bartenders, security, waitresses, dancers, DJs, and street performers make their wages from.....people who go out at night and past midnight. We are talking about a whole legal economy that is creating after 12am.

I'd far rather have those "drunks" on buses and trains than driving. But I'd also rather the workers I mentioned not have to cut into their income anymore to get home from work too.

Which is why some routes can use 24 hour service.

What kind of arrogant jerk tells other grown adults the times they have "business" being out at night? I'm not your child, subject to your curfew. I can go out whenever I want, and it's my business, not yours. That doesn't mean 24/7 bus service is necessarily a good idea, but "you have no business being out late" is no valid reason against it, at least not if you're outside the Soviet Union.
