Just an FYI - there are several new potholes (rim benders and worse) on the Dulles Toll Road from about Wolf Trap to the toll plaza near 7. Looks like the top layer of the road is coming up in pieces the size of extra-large pizzas, about 2 to 3 inches deep. Noticed them going both directions, including the airport access lanes....

Watch out!!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't these just repaved recently, like in the past 3 years or so?

As soon as they raise the price, the quality goes bad.

I drove it both ways yesterday and this morning.....from Dulles to Tysons each way. Didn't hit a single pothole.

Then you either got lucky or they were able to patch them up the night before. They were mostly in the 2nd and 3rd lanes. Heading west from the 7 toll gate to around wolf trap is here I saw them, maybe 10 of them. They were large sections of the topcoat missing, I'd say 2 inches deep. In my car, that would bend the rim (which is something I deal with on a regular basis as a price for low(ish) profile tires).

I felt them going west, but they were not bad (in the dark). Going east, I didn't notice them.
