Of course they can decide how much to count the score, but an 802 Transunion is simply an 802 Transunion...but the updates can be tricky, and can even knock you out of a loan, you were offered (with lots of small print).

This is likely the issue. You can try a rapid rescore as mentioned above but in my experience, the credit cards report the account statement balance once per month and thats where Experian gets their data from.

There are different types of credit scores. Mortgage lenders will use the same Experian/Transunion/Equifax data and generate a mortage score, which will be different than a FICO score. Auto lenders will generate an auto-loan score. Credit Karma uses a Vantage Score, which can be many points higher or lower than a FICO score.
