AND under 2600/mo? Rental, not purchasing. The only thing we have to have is a 2 car garage and 3 bedrooms or 2 bed plus den/finished basement.

Ihave been looking and it LOOKs like Aldie is a new area and might be something to consider for the price point for which I am constrained. (2600). I have looked at Chantilly, Reston (of course) Herndon, Leesburg, Ashburn. Schools are not important (no kids)

Any suggestions for those that live in those areas? I am looking for a less urban feel than the hell of Tysons.

Thanks!

I don't know the specifics of whats for rent there, but in your shoes I would look hard at Herndon - the only complaints I ever hear about it are schools. Its a pretty easy commute to Reston - if I lived in Herndon and worked in Reston, I would bike commute (well I DO bike commute, but not there)

I think you need to decide how important price is vs 2 car garage and commute. 1 car garage in the price point is very doable closer to your work. Personally, I wouldn't live off Route 50 and commute to Reston unless I had to.

Yes. It is the 2 car garage, for the price point, I am finding is an issue. There are 3 of us and we actually have 4 cars. (One is a collector car which hub says must be garaged).

I have actually seen this unit and have it bookmarked. Thank you. You say in the jet noise area, how bad is it?

https://www.zillow.com/homes/for_ren...ect/12_zm/2_p/ - (listing is dated March-don't know if its still available). good neighborhood. off of Dranesville Road. Rt 7 is ~1 mile away. I live nearby. I can vouch for the neighborhood

https://www.realtor.com/realestatean...0_M54406-70967 - $50 over your monthly budget. same general area, but this one is closer to Dranesville road and on the street where the elementary school is located.
