What are some of the fun things to do in Woodbridge. Maybe I'm blind, but is there much to do besides going to Potomac mills mall, visiting Veterans Park and eating at its tons of restaurants. I do go bowling and to the movies but I can do that anywhere. Thanks in advance.

Well, without saying what it is you want to do...it's kind of hard.

There are some good parks in the area (Lake Ridge, Leesylvania, PW Forest). We were kayaking at Leesylvania this weekend.

It's really your typical suburb. But I don't know what you're looking for.

Pohick Bay Regional is nearby. Boating, camping, disc golf course, pool for the kids, a few other goodies.

Woodbridge has always been a suburb and this will likely never change. You don't say what you like to it's hard to address that. If into photography then Occoquan Bay National Wildlife Refuge is a great place.

Occoquan is a good place to hang too with some decent bars and restaurants. Woodbridge is a little lacking in that regard.

Occoquan is overrated. The parking is awful and the restaurant scene is decent but nothing phenomenal.

OP, not much to do in Woodbridge. There’s some nice parks and trails but it’s your typical suburban area.

There's a boater bar on the river that's not bad. Haven't been there in a while and can't remember the name. But I remember the parking was okay.

I’ll echo others that Woodbridge is your typical suburb. There are some things to do nearby and for others, you’ll have to travel.

The PWC Fair is going on now through Saturday. I read that this will be the last county fair. ☹️

On Saturday evening, there will be live music at River Mill Park in Occoquan. Parking is crap so if we go, we’ll take an Uber or if it’s not too hot, park under the Rt. 123 bridge and walk up the hill.

The Workhouse in Lorton typically has events. Comedy shows on certain nights, etc.

There are a couple of good breweries in town - Brew Republic and Water’s End. In Manassas, 2 Silos Brewing is a fun place to go with a group of people.

If you’re outdoorsy, there are plenty of regional and state parks nearby for camping, hiking, fishing, kayaking.

If you’re looking for nightlife, there isn’t much of that in Woodbridge. Bar Louie and Brittany’s are pretty popular. Queen’s Gambit has karaoke. It looks sketchy and what I would consider dive-barish but I’ve been there a handful of times and never had any trouble. People watching is entertaining there. The Electric Palm has live music on the weekends. Please take Uber/Lyft if you’re drinking though.

The property has not sold yet so they are still booking events in the event it does not sale so there could still be more.
