How long does it take for driving from Dulles to DC? Is there a heavy traffic during weekday non-peak hour?

Most of the trip is on the Dulles Access Road, which experiences virtually no traffic delays. Once off the Access Road, it's typical traffic volume. Weekday non-peak shouldn't be a problem.

Consult Google maps to find out the typical driving time. You can adjust the departure time for the exact day and time and it will give you an estimate of what it would take under normal conditions for that time.

Yeah, you just have to worry about hitting 66/495. But once you hit the Dulles Access Road, it's a straight shot.

Please know that the quickest way is the Dulles Access Road to 66 directly into the city. But beware that 66 has dynamic pricing during certain hours, so the cost could be high.

Total time with no traffic is 25-30 minutes.

66 is also always crawling eastbound after the Beltway. I've driven that at some really random times, and traffic always gets bunched up there for a few miles. It's just merging issues and the road lacking at least a lane to match traffic volume. And pray for no accidents because accidents will eff things up real good.
