Anyone know a company who will deliver a cord of chopped wood to Loudoun Co. (Middleburg) and will stack it in my back yard, too?

(yes, I am lazy.)

A friend was using an old school nursery in Merrifield.. you can look it up, dried, split, seasoned, delivered, and stacked hardwoods were running 450 per cord several years ago.

There are generally people on Craigslist who start listing about now. One tip I did hear is that a cord of wood can’t fit in the back of a pickup truck, so if they bring it in a pickup, they are shorting you.

True. Most larger pickups will hold around 1/2 cord if stacked neatly. If thrown in haphazardly it will measure even less.
