Yea, in North Stafford yesterday the protest started peaceful and there were a few government officials involved. But apparently later on in the day things got out of hand. Apparently people where throwing stuff, damaging cars, throwing them out of their cars and blocking the road and traffic. A woman on I think CBS said the police had snipers and brought a tank but I don’t know if it’s true. And many of them life in Stafford County and South PWC and they said they will continue to organize more protests with more people if the police continue what they are doing.

On what planet does rural/suburban Stafford County need a tank, much less to use it against its own citizens? This isn’t Fallujah. This isn’t Idlib. It’s almost like these paramilitary forces aren’t really here to protect us.

It's not a tank for crying out loud. Many agencies have the APC's (Armored Personnel Carriers) and they are an invaluable tool. Down and injured officers/civilians have been rescued in situations where officers could not get to them due to gunfire. Many valuable uses for them. Settle down.

EDIT: And rural has nothing to do with them. They come in handy in big cities and in remote areas.

Idk if it’s true. That’s just what they are putting on local news. Apparently there was a another protest this afternoon in front of Stafford Courthouse. But it apparently it was more peaceful but more people where there. And Stafford County is way more suburban than rural. The police force is very underpaid and overworked cause conservatives still have somewhat of a hand on the county. But apparently that’s suppose to change in 2021. And more south in Fredericksburg they placed a curfew. I actually read on the news that two delegates Lee Carter of Manassas and Joshua Cole of Stafford have had flash bangs thrown at them during the protests.

That's not totally correct but I know what you are saying. Many transplants there.

Apparently, Arlington County is not happy after their police force was used under a guise of order but instead for a Trump photo op.

I heard so many complaints across the news stations about that photo op. I am a conservative, but not real happy with my choices right now. My stomach churned listening to the one or two stations that defended that picture. Yeah, we know, he was showing he was law and order, as people were being gassed and shot with rubber bullets in the split screen. I am just happy he stayed in DC and didn't come to Virginia for his photo.

What the news is not giving a lot of time to: communities coming together to clean up the damage from those rioting.
