I've spoken to no black person who really cares about Aunt Jemima. They've lived their lives with racial and stereotypical images everywhere.

The "win" is not changing names and images; the "win" is seeing that the rest of the population now sees it is wrong, too.

no no. the win for the domestic taliban (aka liberals) is getting rid of the 1st and 2nd amendments. biggest wins for the domestic taliban this year are getting rid of aunt jemima and the land o lakes lady. but back to the OP. the domestic taliban has not gotten rid of it because they are trying to wait for a vote.

I’m wondering how many of the people on this thread currently live in NoVa... You must feel pretty lonely about this opinions.

Not many, most from rural southwestern VA. They've hijacked the Richmond threads as well. They're angry but they are not angry. They don't care but they care enough to jump from thread to thread saying how much they don't care. Strawman, strawman, whitewash, erase, Obama, rinse, repeat.

I left that cesspool a while ago. it's pretty much an embarrassment to the rest of the state anyway. I always used to tell people that I was from DC, because I didn't want to say I was from virginia. now I'm glad people from NOVA say that so they aren't affiliated with the rest of the state.

Not many people in Alexandria talk that bigot talk I'm seeing from some folks on this thread, thank you very much.
