I found the following URL about utility costs in the states and it got me curious to see how my household stacks up. So I took the last 12m and tracked it on a spreadsheet to see how it compares Virginia. I'm pretty happy with what we're spending.
I don't have cable, but I guess I should put down We spend about $20 on various streaming options. We tend to rotate them to get new content. Even with that included, the total cost is still lower.

Hmmm - I don't have a spreadsheet
- but I have a smaller Cape Cod (1300-ish sq. feet) - 4 BR/2 bath (unfinished basement), so 2 levels pretty much: I have budget plan on utilities Electric: $44/mo., Gas: $55/mo., Alex. Renew: about 20-21/mo., VAWC (water): about $17/mo., combined home phone/internet: $97, DTV
- $109/mo.

I am envious of your water bill. My wife loves long showers and the kiddos with their baths. I try to balance it out with 5 minute showers lol
