Hello, first of all just want to say that this forum is very informative and helpful especially for 1st time home buyers like me.

I will be relocating from Annapolis to Dulles Tech Corridor. Being that I am 'almost' married but no kids, I am looking to buy a small townhome in the 1,500 to 2,000SQFT range in a planned community. I am interested in the following area: ASHBURN/BRAMBLETON/LoudonValley and possiblly SOUTH RIDING.

From reading old threads, I came to the conclusion that I do need to get a buyer's agent (ie. realtors) to help in my home buying process even if I ended up purchasing a new home from a builder. It seems that by having an agent, the search and closing process will be much less hassle and smoother.

Anyone can kindly recommend a good realtor you've had good experience with? I am looking for a realtor who is honest, hard-working, and cares about her clients' best interests. I am looking for the past clients' referrals, not postings from the agents pls.

Thanks in advance.. Feel free to send me a pm (message).

I would highly recommend Ned Stock with Exit Realty Talbot and Company. He helped a friend of mine and did a great job. He is right there in Ashburn just google him.

I can heartily recommend Mark Gaetjen with RE/MAX. You'll notice that Mark uses a consultant's approach to helping you instead of the traditional salesman mistreatment that is common among Realtors. MARK GAETJEN RE/MAX REALTOR - Realtor®

I sell homes down south in Prince William County, around Manassas, Bristow, Haymarket, and Woodbridge. Been in the biz forever. I recommend Mark all the time because folks thank me for doing so.

I would certainly recommend him. They are a boutique shop but very good.
