Huh? Of course church pre schools are privately run by the church, not run by the government.

I got the answer I needed (in the thread)-- I know they are private and not run by the government but was trying to figure out why they were bound by federal regulations (and the reason is their non profit status).

You are kidding, right?

Have you EVER seen a public school in a church? Did you go to public high school in a church? Or elementary school?

Any school that is in a church is, by definition, a private school.

Huh, again? What does non profit have to do with anything? Public schools are non profit too, as are nearly all schools, public and private.

The federal government has nothing to do with pre schools, and little to do with running any school, public or private.

Are you really asking something else? Moderator Cut: Personal attack
