Centreville, VA is an excellent place to buy right now. In all of Fairfax County this is the one area you will get the most house for the least amount of money.

If I were a first time home buyer I would want to know where some of the top places to buy were, so that I could get the most for my money and investment.....

The numbers provided don't lie ....

Actually you are advertising. If you are interested in sharing your realtor expertise with us, I would strongly recommend that you read the Terms of Service to find out the benefits and parameters of how you can participate as a Real Estate Agent.

It's a great time to buy if you...

(a) Enjoy losing a ton of money
(b) Enjoy feeding real estate agents

Prices are falling at an unprecedented rate in Fairfax County. I just posted an update showing that prices are falling at an annual rate of -22% at the moment. In terms of sales prices, the market correction is getting more severe each month.

I think it's unfair to group all of Fairfax County into one category. Some parts are not experiencing -22% declines...you can make the numbers say whatever you want them to.

That realtor obviously doesnt know his numbers or work in Centreville... It is a buyers market in Centreville. Just look at the absorption rate.

If someone is wanting to buy, their best option is Centreville right now. They can get the most house for their money. Housing is not falling that drasticaly right now in Centreville.

If they do not have to drive into the city then Centreville is perfect.
