Greetings

Could you please recommend the best/closest Children's Hospital and Hospital with Labor & Delivery/Women's Center to Ashburn?

Also looking for a highly recommended Pediatrician, OBGYN- prefer a smaller practice with Midwives, Dentist, General Family Practice.

Also looking for a good church in the area. We are used to a non-denominational Christian church with a more contemporary/young feel with lots of activities for young children.

Thank you all so much for your help and suggestions!!!!

Loudoun Community Midwives are awesome, they're located next to the Loudoun hospital (a few minutes from Ashburn). Dr. Ruth McDonald with McDonald Pediatrics is also great, she is in Ashburn. As for places of worship, judging by the Sunday paper ads, there are plenty to chose from. Welcome!

Ashburn Pediatrics are a great office of doctors (and they have walk-in sick hours for existing patients from 7:30 to 8:30am). I love the Mayo dentistry office in Leesburg (a father and 2 sons, all very good dentists).

One of the great Loudoun debates is our hospital situation. Do a google search for Broadlands Regional Medical Center and you'll have plenty of reading. As of now, we only have one hospital that serves all of Loudoun-Loudoun INOVA hospital. Personally, I am not at all impressed so we go to specialists at Georgetown or UVA for "real" medical issues. For childrens hospitals, I think that Childrens Hospital has a center near the Merrifield area of Fairfax-about 30 minutes away.

Our family attends McLean Bible Church, and I like this church more than any other I have ever attended. The main campus is in Tysons, and they also have a newer and smaller Loudoun congregation that meets in Lansdowne. I have been to both, and they are both great. Our kids love it, too, and I think the children's programs are fantastic. Since it is a big church, it is no problem to find a small group or a ministry to join with people who have similar interests as you. Check it out at www.mcleanbible.org

The Community Church is in Ashburn, right off of Rt 7 and it is probably what you are looking for. Non-Dem, wonderful youth programs and care, and upbeat service with music and a good pastor. I like it there.
As for a Dr...I like Dr Dulai
I didn't use her as an OB b/c I wasn't in this state then, but she is very good and nice...only two dr's in the practice
19455 Deerfield Avenue Suite 207
Lansdowne, VA 20176 The local hospital is Inova. It is in Lansdowne. (Dr Dulai is right across from the hospital)good luck
