I will be working in Winchester, but would like to live somewhere between there and DC. Leesburg looks like a viable option. Am I correct? or is there something better to consider.

It depends on what you are looking for outside of work. Leesburg has more to do, but Berryville would be a much easier commute in bad weather. Winchester is a nice town with some nightlife and lower home prices than Leesburg, why would you not consider it?

I want to be closer to DC for better employment reasons. Is the weather there during the winter a big issue? I anticipated some snow or occasional ice, but am I wrong?
