Moving to NOVA from MI, I was on a hunt for Vernors and they have it (in 6-packs only) at Giant. Good luck!

What is good about the brand Vernors?, never had it but I am a ginger ale fan lately - settles the ole tummy.

It has a stronger "kick" to it, as if the formula uses real ginger in it. I don't know if what's sold here is bottled in Wisconsin, or if the bottling is farmed out to a local bottler. But it is good stuff.

I got it at Shoppers Food Warehouse in Potomac Yards just a couple of weeks ago. Good stuff and glad they carry it.

Yes, Shoppers throughout the area have it. If you can't find it and you know someone with military shopping privileges, see if they can pick up a 6-pack at the Commissary. I've seen it in several of those, too.

I love Vernor's; it tastes like Christmas!

Yeah the stuff can go straight up your nose like some champagnes.
I do notice that the kick is negated somewhat if the drink is poured over ice.
