It's real easy. Just switch to the lesser known newspaper. The big guys are getting more than 200 per year, now. That's outrageous. Even if you do like the Leftist' crap they publish; it's way to expensive. Beijing and Moscow are not one newspaper towns; DC shouldn't be, either.

Try the other paper out for free for 1 month, then get the rest of the year for only 39 USD. It doesn't come on Saturdays--that is the only drawback.

You mean the Moonie paper? No way!

While the Post regularly infuriates me, it is a profitable enterprise (although the entire industry is in a death spiral). I also know where they are coming from.

How does one explain a Korean cult leader pouring millions of dollars into a US newspaper that never has, and never will come close to breaking even, let alone turn a profit.

I'd rather rely on The Examiner than The Times. $39 cheaper and much less obnoxious.

Give it up BH? People will decide for themselves, not based on one-sided views (I hope).

I'm talking home delivery, Sag. I do know quite a few Examiner readers.

Well, Barry, right now I have 7-day Post subscription for $.99/week. I don't love the slant, but the coupons more than pays for the subscription. At $.99, I have a feeling the Post is losing money on me, so I figure that makes up for the slant in coverage. If the Post cost goes up for me (and I know it will, soon), I'll cash in some frequent flier miles for the Wall Street Journal before going to the Times. I just can't see myself knowingly supporting the Moonies.
