I'm considering:

Village Green Day School (is it worth the money?)

A Child's Place

Kids Under Construction

Good Shepherd Lutheran

I would like it to be an enjoyable experience for my child - but also educational and good at reinforcing good character traits. Thanks!

As what is best for one child might not be the best for another, I say visit ALL with your child see how the teachers interact, interview them etc... see if your child feel comforable in the atmosphere etc...
If a school doesn't allow "open drop-in" visits then I personally wouldn't care for that environment for my pre-schooler. They should welcome you and your child for a "trail day" etc... so you both can get a feel for what the envirnoment is like etc...

Whats important to you? Christian based learning? Academics? Socialization? etc...

One place may get rave reviews because it's the most expensive "the school" etc... but it may not be the best fit for your child.
I know I didn't anwser your question but where I think is best you might hate!
(Like how a mother at our old pre-school got upset because faith based learning and prayers were taking place & and the Christmas program was all "churchy"! IT WAS a CHRISTIAN preschool!)

Good luck

For what it's worth, I've known a few parents with children at A Child's Place and they were all happy with it.
