Honey Pig employees I find tend to lack tact and customer relation skills, but then again that's true for most korean owned establishments

I've never been too the following places:

Yechon, Oegadgib, To Sok Jip, Il Mee Buffet Restaurant, Gamasot, Bon Chon Chicken

Would you guys recommend that I eat at any of those places? Thanks

I personally like Il Mee and Bon Chon. Il Mee is a buffet restaurant. Bon Chon is known for their fried chicken. It's the best fried chicken I've ever had in my entire life and I'm not kidding. However, each order takes at least 45 minutes and sometimes the wait time is over an hour and a half. When I do want Bon Chon, I make sure to call at least an hour ahead of time. You can look up all those restaurants you listed on yelp to see more reviews too.

Haven't been to all of those. Gamasot is known for its soups and stews. Oegadgib (I think that's Honey Pig?) is fun and pretty good BBQ. Yechon has a good variety and I like their banchan, but I have usually gone b/c someone else suggested it, I don't seek it out on my own. Also, friends have mentioned they found Yechon's food high in MSG content (I'm not reactive to MSG so can't say personally).

I have been to Honey Pig and it's not Oegadgib. Honey Pig has a great food but terrible service, IMO.

Good service, though. And fantastic food.

Have you been to Il Mee? It's also a buffet.

What exactly were they offering to warrant $27 a head.

Giant prawns (though you had to shell 'em yourself or just eat the shells), sushi, various fish entrees, steak, and the standard offer of all the thinly sliced pork or beef you can eat.

Lunch prices are way below that, though--I think it's $14.

Actually, I think it was LivingSocial. I'm sure they'll do another one sometime. Keep hope alive.
