We have daffodils a mundo this year.

Not many crocus, though. Guess the deer thought they'd make a tasty dessert.

This morning the cherry tree starting popping open. By this weekend it'll look like a big bag of fluffy pink popcorn.

Heathers are just starting to turn purple, too. I love this time of year.

Aaah...pretty!

I love seeing all the daffodils sprout up on the sides of the road. They help to brighten my commute.

I have no clue, but something is coming up. I planted a bunch of bulbs I bought for my niece's fundraiser catalog. I randomly planted them so I have no idea what's where

Our forsythia has little yellow buds popping out all over it. We also have some little white flowers coming up in our woods - not sure what those are but they're pretty.

I've seen some early tulips and some irises coming up in the neighborhood, too.

Yesterday's rain really brought out the forsythia. They're blooming like crazy.

OP, how is your grass that green already? I can't believe seeing grass that green in Nova considering we just had snow not more than 3 weeks ago.

Green spray paint.

No, just kidding--it's fertilizer. We follow the complete schedule from Merrifield Garden Center. We actually fertilized right before the snow, so that all the water in the snow would really soak it into the ground. It's probably the earliest we've ever done the spring, but we like fertilizing before a spring snow. The slow melt of the snow prevents run off problems.

Meanwhile, the cherry tree's being a tease. Just a few blossoms so far. But maybe we'll get the full bloom next week (or the week after that.... ).
